Exchanges & Refunds
We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind.
But you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. If a product purchased from Lady Luck Lampshades is found to have a clear and obvious production fault caused by Lady Luck Lampshades, we will provide a refund upon return of the item, or exchange the faulty product to the same value as the original purchase price.
Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value.
The faulty product must be returned to our workshop within 14 days, from the date of dispatch by Lady Luck Lampshades. Postage costs will be reimbursed if confirmed to be a production fault.
To receive a refund:
The purchaser must supply documented proof of purchase:
a. official paypal documentation/receipt, or
b. EFT confirmation of payment, or
c. Cheque number

As every shade produced by Lady Luck Lampshades is handmade, it may differ slightly to the image on ladylucklampshades.com.au. This especially concerns the placement of the fabric on the shade, and the placement of the fabric's patterns and figures, which can vary. Every shade is produced with the intention to feature the best aspects of the fabric.

Payment Terms and Conditions
- All goods shall remain the property of Lady Luck Lampshades until full payment has been received.
- Custom made silk shade orders require an upfront deposit of 50% of the quote provided by Lady Luck Lampshades, before production commences.
- Custom made silk shade orders: the outstanding balance is due prior to dispatch or arranged pickup of the goods.
- If a custom made silk shade order is cancelled after production has commenced, but prior to the completion date, there is no refund of monies received by Lady Luck Lampshades and the goods remain the propert of Lady Luck Lampshades.
If production has not commenced a full refund will be sent to you within 14 days. - Shades not picked up or delivered (due to the customer not providing postage instructions) 3 months after the date the order was placed, reverts back to Lady Luck Lampshades' stock and the purchaser forfeits all monies paid.
Postage
- Lady Luck Lampshades specialise in handmade lampshades, which are made to order. Please allow up to 10 working days for delivery, from the date of payment (applies to standard registered post).
- Pick up is available from Northcote, Victoria. Pickup is required within 7 days from Northcote, Victoria by appointment only. If you choose this option, please email us to arrange a pick-up time.
- Standard lampshade postage costs (excludes shades larger than 40cm wide):
- Australia Post Registered (usually arrives in 2 business days; requires a signature) AUD $13.45
- Australia Post Express Platinum (usually arrives next business day; requires a signature) AUD $20.20
- International Registered (requires a signature) AUD $33.40
- Multiple shades and the purchase of lamp bases will incur a greater postage fee. Please email Lady Luck to confirm postage costs before placing your order.
- Shades larger than 40cm wide will incur a greater postage fee. Please email Lady Luck to confirm postage costs before placing your order.
- LLL is not responsible for any loss or damage to products in transit. It is recommended that all relevant insurance for loss or damage of goods be requested when using a postal or courier service.
- Costs associated with postage and shipping can vary locally, interstate and for international orders. You will be contacted by Lady Luck Lampshades if there is a change in postage costs.
- All delivery costs are borne by the customer, unless otherwise arranged.
- Lampshades not picked up or delivered (due to the customer not providing postage instructions) 3 months after the date the order was placed, reverts back to Lady Luck Lampshades' stock and the purchaser forfeits all monies paid.
- Custom made silk shade orders require a minimum of 30 days production period. This may extend in our busy production periods.
- Quotes for custom orders remain valid for 60 days from issue.
- Custom made silk shade orders require an upfront deposit of 50% of the quote provided by Lady Luck Lampshades, before production commences.
- If a custom made silk shade order is cancelled after production has commenced, but prior to the completion date, there is no refund of monies received by Lady Luck Lampshades and the goods remain the propert of Lady Luck Lampshades.

- We accept no returns and offer no refunds due to dissatisfaction with the design and colour choices. As all custom made silk shade designs and colour choices are approved by the customer before production commences. In instances where it is clearly a production fault, we are happy to discuss solutions with the customer, for a positive outcome.
- All gift vouchers are emailed in pdf format to the customer who purchased the gift voucher, not the recipient. Hardcopies are not provided by Lady Luck Lampshades.
- Gift vouchers can be redeemed for items in Lady Luck Lampshades' online stores and for custom designed silk shade orders.
- Gift vouchers can not be used to purchase items from our affiliate partners.
- Gift vouchers and unused portions of gift vouchers are to be spent within 6 months from the date of purchase. Always refer to the expiry date on the gift voucher. Gift vouchers are null and void after the expiry date on the gift voucher.
- Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund.
- Lady Luck Lampshades is not responsible for the loss or theft of gift vouchers issued by Lady Luck Lampshades. Unfortunately we cannot refund monies paid.
- To redeem your gift voucher, insert your gift voucher code into the Coupon Code upon checkout.
- Should your order exceed the value of the gift voucher, you are required to pay the balance per our normal trading terms and conditions. Proceed with your checkout and an email will be sent to you with payment information.
- Any unused balance will be placed in the recipient's gift voucher account and is not transferable. The original expiration date applies.
- Free delivery via courier is available one per gift voucher, Australia-wide.
- To receive your free postage, choose the "Pickup within 7 days" option. However your shade will be posted to you, free of charge.

Lady Luck Lampshades will not issue a refund if & when:
- The purchaser has simply changed their mind and there is nothing proven to be wrong/faulty in the production of the product
- The product has been purchased for another and they do not want it, for any reason.
- The product was purchased for another and they have already bought the identical one from Lady Luck Lampshades.
- The product has been damaged by others, anytime after it was received by the purchaser or recipient.
- The product was damaged after it was dispatched by Lady Luck Lampshades.
- The product was not considered the exact colour selected by the purchaser.
Colour variations: as with all online purchases the colors displayed in our photographs may be viewed differently on various monitors, this is mainly due to the different colour settings and computer systems available worldwide.
As a result, the colors displayed should only be considered as a general guide rather than as an exact representation of the actual/real colors.
Please choose carefully as we do not offer refunds due to dissatisfaction with your design or colour choices. - Custom made silk shades: We accept no returns and offer no refunds due to dissatisfaction with design and colour choices.
